At Eco-accommodation, you will stay in an environmentally friendly eco-village, built by local masons with local stone using traditional methods. For accommodations in Marsa Alam or Dahab, we give choices to be at tents or hotels with domed rooms. Tents are provided with electricity and locally made furniture with the Egyptian style. Toilets and Shower is short walk. Also we have already eco-camp in Bahariya Oasis but still under construction. The vehicles that we use for our clients are all our modern air-conditioned vehicles and are provided with baskets for rubbish in addition to environmental filter on the exhaust pipe of the cars. We advise our drivers in Egypt and Jordan not to use the horn even incase you do not have a client and this is a behavior and we need to improve it.
We train the staff how to have minimal impact on the environment and how to be an example to the others in Egypt and Jordan. For example, Incase you see a paper in the historical places with tourists or even with your family and friends, immediately pick it up from the ground and put it the basket. We keep advising travelers to conserve water and put tissues in the bin. In my opinion to start with yourself and advise the other to do that is the best example to be followed.
During the trip, we give a brief description of Egypt from Pharaonic time until the time of the revolution in 1952. We also give out information about the Arabic language, local religions and appropriate dress (particularly for women).
